A fader pick up algorithm has been written into the software to ensure seamless integration between the two MIDI layers. In shift mode, the channel MIDI messages are sent on the default MIDI channel minus 1—ie if you are transmitting on MIDI channel 16 then shift mode will transmit on channel 15. The only exception is if the default channel is channel 1 then the shift mode will transmit on channel 2.
