its though it as ran out of fuel,which is not the case,if i leave it for 10-15 minutes and go back and try again it fires up no problem,it as no other problems,engine is quiet and drives like a dream,does anyone know what the problem could be?

I have a 2000 (W Reg) Hyundai Coupe 2.0 SE. Last night, i turned the ignition and the engine started, maintained revs for a moment before cutting completely. Turned it over gain and it was fine. Set off as normal but 10 minutes later, when approaching a junction, it cut again. Completely silent, no chugging of the engine, no noises coming from the fuel pump etc but it concerning. Had it serviced recently and no problems were spotted. Have heard of issues with hyundai electrics in the past but only ever experienced a crank shaft sensor failure which was rectified a year back. Battery is new and has a full charge so am mystified. Any help greatly appreciated.
